{"id":2667,"date":"2023-01-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"\/www.youradv.com\/people\/daymons-dianne-galang-honored-with-courageous-leader-award\/"},"modified":"2023-01-11T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2023-01-11T00:00:00","slug":"daymons-dianne-galang-honored-with-courageous-leader-award","status":"publish","type":"mrktblog-posts","link":"https:\/\/youradv.com\/mrktblog\/daymons-dianne-galang-honored-with-courageous-leader-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Daymon&#8217;s Dianne Galang Honored With Courageous Leader Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IRVINE, Calif. \u2015 Dianne Galang, vice president of new business development at Daymon, has been named the recipient of the 2022 Courageous Leader award from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nextupisnow.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NextUp<\/a> (formerly the Network of Executive Women) and the Kristine Pettoni Foundation during NextUp\u2019s annual Leadership Summit.<\/p>\n<h2>Recognizing Transformational Leadership and Impact Across the Industry<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Galang is a founding member and co-chair of programming for NextUp\u2019s Anywhere Region and helped pioneer a way to bring the organization\u2019s mission to life in a virtual world, according to Tamiko Olabintan, chief operating officer for NextUp.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDianne built a programming strategy with little to no resources and managed to do 16 events in 2022 \u2014 and counting!\u201d said Olabintan. \u201cShe is a committed leader who has ensured that each event is better than the last. Her region peers say that the high performance of her team has been essential to what the NextUp Anywhere Region has achieved.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Furthering the Advancement of Women in Business<\/h3>\n<p>In accepting the award, Galang said, \u201cI am so honored to receive this award from NextUp and the Kristine Pettoni Foundation. There are few words to describe the feelings I have when I heard their recognition, but I am so thankful for the NextUp organization and the opportunity to continue the mission to advance all women in business. I am deeply passionate about diversity and equity for everyone, and this organization is taking the steps to achieve that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Kristine Pettoni Foundation is an Atlanta-based, non-profit organization dedicated to improving financial literacy and reducing underemployment for working women.
